About PBR — PT. Putrabangun Rubberindo

An Indonesian OEM rubber parts manufacturer founded in 2003. From a 200 sqm Slipi workshop to a 10,000 sqm Cikupa factory — 22 years of continuous focus on Japanese-OEM-grade rubber parts.

Who we are

22 Years of Single-Focus Execution

PBR (PT. Putrabangun Rubberindo) was established in 2003 in Slipi, Jakarta on a 200 sqm shop floor with one focus: OEM-grade rubber parts for the Japanese automotive supply chain operating in Indonesia. Customer demand grew, and in 2006 we relocated to a purpose-built 10,000 sqm facility in Cikupamas, Tangerang, shared with our sister company PT. Putra Cipta Jaya Sentosa.

What that translates to on the ground today:

  • A single Tangerang factory that controls compounding, mixing, molding, QC, and packaging under one roof — near-full vertical integration. Tooling is primarily in-house (CNC milling + FDM 3D printer for prototyping), with vetted external partners for advanced or highly specialized molds.
  • A team experienced in cold runner injection, compression, hot runner injection, and vacuum molding, with 65+ molding machines running daily.
  • An ISO 9001:2015 quality system certified by SGS — first certified to ISO 9001:2008 in 2009 — used every shift, not just hung on the wall.
  • Bilingual operations in English and Japanese (日本語対応) — drawings, technical correspondence, and quality reports issued in either language as the customer prefers.

Founded in Slipi, Jakarta

Named Best Supplier by PT. Hino Motors Sales Indonesia (signed by Toshiro Mizutani, President Director, 25 January 2010). Best Vendor Performance 2010 followed.

65+ molding machines, primarily in-house mold manufacturing with vetted external partners for advanced tooling, named Japanese-OEM customer roster, plus high-voltage power infrastructure customers.

Compounding (2 open roll mills, 55-litre and 75-litre kneaders, automatic chemical weighing, Barwell preformer), 9 cold runner injection presses, 46 compression machines, 4 hot runner injection presses, 3 vacuum molding presses, 3 post-cure ovens, 4 CNC lathes, in-house CNC mold milling, FDM 3D printer for prototyping (with vetted external partners for advanced or highly specialized tooling), finishing line, and the full SGS-certified QC laboratory.
